Pride '90 kickoff party. Now, in the darkest days of winter, is the time to think about warm, sunny June and Cleveland's second annual Lesbian-Gay Pride Celebration. The Cleveland LesbianGay Pride Committee is having a volunteer party to start the planning for this year's event. If you would like to help make Pride '90 an even bigger, better celebration than before, come on down and join us! Refreshments will be served at the Center at West 29th and Detroit at 7:30 p.m. on Thusday, January 11. Call 321-1129 for further information.
New A.A. meeting. The Saturday Bisexual Discussion, a new A.A. meeting, will meet on Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. at the Lesbian-Gay Community Services Center, at 1418 West 29th Street, near Detroit.
The Meeting will be 'closed,' meaning it is open to alcoholics only.

Catholic Post-abortion Counseling. Positive counseling for women and men dealing with conflict from a past abortion is now available by calling the Intake Phone Line of Catholic Social Services at 881-1600. Professional counselors provide services tailored to the needs of the individual in a confidential, nonjudgmental, nondenominational man-
ner.
Bowling Benefit. The Gay Invitational Fellowship Tournament will be holding a bowling fundraiser, "Moonlight Bowling" an January 27 at 10:30 p.m. Games 7 at 10 will be bowled at Ambassador Superior Lanes, 1500 Superior Avenue. Cost is $7.00 per person for three games and includes shoe rental. Along with the games there will be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will benefit GIFT's annual tournament, held in June. Come out and join the fun!
Electronic Center. The Lesbian-Gay Community Service Center has added a new dimension by joining with Case Western Reserve University to form the "Electronic Lesbian and Gay Community Service Center."

Le Cabaret Line. Cleveland's only showbar featuring female impersonators has just begun their own 24-hour, seven day a week informational hotline called LeCabaret Line.
Just dial 656-4SUN, and let the sun shine! This is a local telephone call for the Cleveland area, and there are no additional charges made like "976" or "900" charges which can total up to several dollars a minute. Yes! The info on the Line is free!
Callers will be told about upcoming shows at the bar, the nights with live D.J.s, birthdays and other club events.

A Cleveland chapter of Presbyterians for Lesbian-Gay Concerns (PLGC) is forming and would like to invite all interested persons to join with us.
PLGC is an organization of ministers, elders, deacons, and members of the Presbyterian Church (USA) that strives to raise the concerns of lesbians and gay people, their parents, families and friends within the Presbyterian Church, to support lesbian and gay people inside and outside the church, to encourage the mission and ministry of the church with lesbian and gay people, and to witness to the lesbian and gay community and to the church that the church of Jesus Christ is the church for all God's people.
PLGC is organized as a Special Organization within the Presbyterian Church, under the provisions of Chapter 9, Section G-9.0602, of the Book of Order and reports annually to the General Assembly.

Participants for a couples study are needed. Gay and lesbian couples who consider themselves to be in an intimate interpersonal relationship of at least 3 months' duration are encouraged to participate in a study being conducted by Danial Keller, graduate student in psychology at Kent State University. Couples of all age groups are welcome to participate.
The couples study investigates factors which are important to the couple's satisfaction and stability. Partners will be asked to individually fill out a series of brief questionnaires. In addition, couples will be re-contacted six months later to report on the status of their relationship.
Each partner will be paid $3.00 for the initial participation and $4.00 for the sixmonth telephone follow-up.
Confidentiality is strictly protected. Names, address and phone numbers will be only known to the investigator and his research assistants and kept in a safety deposit box at a local bank. Upon completion of this study, this information will be destroyed.
This study has been reviewed and approved by the Human Subjects Review Board of Kent State University.

Out/Write '90, the first-ever national lesbian and gay writers conference, will feature poets Allen Ginsberg and Judy Grahn as keynote speakers at the March 3 -4 event in San Francisco. The conference will focus on the past, present and future of gay and lesbian writing.
The conference is sponsored by Out/Look Magazine and will be held at the Cathedral Hill Hotel, 1101 Van Ness Ave. Advanced registration is $25 per person for both days through Feb 1, General registration and registration at the door will be $40 for both days or $20 for either Saturday or Sunday. Multiple Dimensions, Hollywood's new gay and lesbian publishing house is seeking submissions for an anthology on butch/femme as unique socio-cultural phenomenon is lesbian lifestyle.
